Double Vision Music Marathon, Part 1: Clock Town EP

So yesterday marked the beginning of Double Visions month long Music Marathon, which is sponsored by FreshNewTracks. This project is inspired by the Boston Marathon, which takes place April 16 ( last day of this), that runs near their hometowns. Double Vision wanted to release 26 all new songs for their fans. These songs are gonna be broken up into 4 mini EP’s named after different portions of the actual Boston Marathon, with each EP being released on FNT every Monday.

This weeks EP, titled Clock Town, is named after the 4th mile of the course the cuts through Ashland, MA. The EP features 7 high energy tracks that are sure to get you pumped up. So check out this EP and look out for the second one when it drops next week.

Mac Miller – Loud (music video) + Macadelic (mixtape)

With the release of his mixtape, Macadelic, on Friday, it has already passed 250,000 downloads on Datpiff. I wasn’t a huge fan of his debut album Best Day Ever, and from what I’ve heard so far from Macadelic its way better. It boast some features from some big hitters in the rap community. As for the video, its pretty sick with the trippy black lights, that go with the vibe for the project. Give it a listen and cop the whole mixtape.

Radical Something – No Sweat (album)

After having a huge 2011, Radical Something (comprised of Loggy, Josh Cocktail, and Big Red) started this year by putting in work for their newest album, No Sweat. This 6 song album is available on itunes for $3, which is definitely worth the price. These there guys combine their different styles to make an album that has that indie, summer vibe with some electro and hip hop mixed in.
