So I know it Saturday but for this weeks installment of Timesflies Tuesday, Cal and Rez do a remix Carly Rae Jepsen’s hit song, Call Me Maybe. Rez takes the beat and give it a electro spin, while Cal completely kills it on the freestyle. Give it a listen…
Oh and in the description on youtube, the put a phone number for 973 area code and with this video at over 500000 views I feel bad for who ever that is…
As the 2nd promo for his upcoming album Back to the Future, Mashup Germany decided to do a 2012 dance version of the Linkin Park / Jay-Z collab “Numb Encore” with some T-Pain thrown in. Its cool to see this song get a rework into a more EDM track that can make it more playable at clubs/parties. The album is supposed to be out some time this month (theres only a few days left) so be on the look out for that and make sure you check this song out..
Samples: Mike Candys feat. Evelyn & Patrick Miller – 2012 (If The World Would End)
Linkin Park feat. Jay-Z – Numb Encore
T-Pain – Turn all the lights on
I saw the promo video for this track last month and instantly got pumped for Clinton Sparks’ MyAwesomeMixtape3, which should be out soon. Clinton took the 90′s classic and gave it an electro up do. Giving the track a crazy electro drop and keeping the tempo real up beat tempo that will work any rave or club/party. Do yourself a favor and download this track and throw it on you playlist to rage to this weekend… Enjoy
Ive been away for a week and am not just getting to checking emails from while I was gone. One the tracks that got sent my way was “Choice Is Yours” from Florida native Bevrlykills who now resides in LA. This is a re-release of one of his older tracks while he’s trying to build some buzz around him. With a vast knowledge of big-room progressive house, electro, dubstep, and real hip-hop, he’s been trying to show people out west how he can rock crowds. Definitely give this track a listen/download and look out for more tracks from Bevrlykills to come out in the future…
Heres a new one by Nicky Romero. Nicky is currently in the studio working over the final mixing and mastering for his first release, “WTF” on his label. This one has made its way to the web in anticipation of the new release and from the sounds of it, he’s trying to melt some faces. Rather than waste time trying to describe the pounding electro feel to this track, we’ll just go ahead and take a listen.
So this one has been floating around youtube for awhile but has now been officially released with Tiesto’s Club Life Vol.2 Miami. Tiesto, once a legend of Trance, has definitely made it clear that he is content with the House explosion and intent on dominating that scene. In the shadow of monsters like C’mon, and Maximal Crazy; Chasing Summers promises to please. Starting with an awesome bright synth lead, and then dropping down into a dirty Electro beat that just wreaks of Tiesto. This will definitely be a staple in many of your favorite DJ’s sets for awhile. A great mix of dirty electro and upbeat house. Check it out.
So after releasing multiple mashups, Rek’d decided to switch it up and focus his time on his original production skills for his next bootleg. He took Chris Brown’s dance track “Turn Up the Music” and reworked it to make it his own. He threw in some of his custom synths, gave it a crazy build, and made the track drop real hard. This song is real sick and you should definitely give it a listen. Just make sure you “turn up the music” when you do… Enjoy
Alright so I was just listening to this for the first time and it sounded familiar to me but I couldnt tell why, then by friend pointed out that Kap Slap used the same 2 songs together in his spring break mix (check the 53 min) but any way these two songs blend together so well to make one serious banger. So check it out, and to which ever person did it first, good job… Enjoy
Tiësto and Wolfgang Gartner have let loose their massive collaboration that features vocals from Luciana. You’ll be able to find this track on Tiësto’s Club Life: Volume Two Miami and you can buy this off of itunes now…. Enjoy
So this Russian DJ blew up in the blog world a couple of months ago when one of his tracks got mistaken for an Avicii song. Well now hes back with his latest track titled “Leto,” which a real high energy track with a huge build. Give it a listen and enjoy…
